The Pentagon apparently has put together a $50bn supplemental budget request to replace the Tomahawk missiles, the THAAD missiles and Patriot missiles that have been used in the first seven days of this war, as well as replacing other equipment that may have been damaged or worn out because the military burn rate has been rather high.

Congress has already been concerned about the budget deficit and the interest on the federal debt. Another $50bn request might give some legislators pause.

航母有很多马桶。平均下来每只不贵。

不要看不起清理马桶。三番地铁的马桶清洁工多年前就年收入近30万美元了。比买提（大多数）发考题收入都高。

老牛当年在东大有一次中学请了一位国务院津贴级留美海龟专家校友回来给全校学生讲见闻。他说的其中一项就是留美读博期间勤工俭学干的就是刷厕所。他还很自豪地说用专业知识用双氧水刷又快又好（可惜不能申请专利）。

老牛想象（在最新锐）航母上清理厕所不但要懂得接电线信号线，可能还得会点编程Deploy/Update firmware啥的。
