Iran rejected offer to hold enrichment for 20 years, made counteroffer

The Iranians heard from the United States and Pakistan that there is an offer for Iran to hold nuclear enrichment for 20 years, and then there would be a possibility of a deal.

They refused to go for 20 years. However, they prepared their own counteroffer, which is now being faced with the withdrawal of the 20 years offer that was on the table.

Today’s ceasefire in Lebanon could have a positive impact on the future talks. What remains now is unfreezing of Iranian assets in order for the Iranians to go to the second round of talks with much more optimism.

Trump says US ‘very close’ to making deal with Iran
The US is very close to making a deal with Iran, Trump has said, claiming that Tehran ⁠had “⁠agreed to almost everything”, including handing over its enriched uranium.

Here is what else he told reporters at the White House:

If an ‌Iran deal is reached and signed in ⁠Islamabad, he might ⁠travel to the Pakistani capital.
The ⁠ceasefire with Iran, which expires on April 22, might not need to be extended as a deal could be reached before that date.
The next meeting ‌between the US and Iran may take place ⁠over the weekend.
If there is no deal with Iran, fighting will resume.
The US blockade of Hormuz is “holding up well”.

5年不可能，伊朗想瞎了心了。20年禁止浓缩铀，远程弹道导弹，霍尔木兹海峡自由通行，来换解除对伊朗经济制裁，对伊朗已经是最好的条件了。
