据英国《金融时报》4月15日报道，多名消息人士透露，中方已要求丹麦航运集团马士基和地中海航运公司（MSC）立即停止在巴拿马运河的港口运营。

今年早些时候，巴拿马政府强行剥夺李嘉诚旗下香港长江和记集团（长和）的港口特许经营权。随后，马士基和地中海航运公司获得了港口的临时运营权。

据两名熟悉会谈的人士透露，在上月初的一次会议上，中方官员召见了这两家欧洲公司的代表，要求他们立即退出港口运营。

第三名人士表示，他们还被要求“不从事损害中国企业利益的非法活动，并维护商业道德和国际规则”。

当天，这两家公司还被警告，在美以挑起伊朗战争并造成供应链中断的情况下，需要维护供应链稳定。

熟悉情况的人士表示，马士基和地中海航运公司辩称，他们的临时特许经营权对于保持巴拿马运河贸易畅通至关重要，并补充说，两家集团的高层管理人员都在同中方沟通。

《金融时报》称，这些警告凸显了中方越来越愿意在其视为对中国供应链安全至关重要的领域，对外国公司使用经济杠杆。此举也标志着巴拿马港口特许经营权争议的升级。美国一直试图加强对运河的影响力，而中方则希望捍卫中国企业在这一战略水道上的投资。

I have always been a big fan of Tim Cook, and likewise, Steve Jobs, but if Steve was not taken from the Planet Earth so young, and ran the company instead of Tim, the company would have done well, but nowhere near as well as it has under Tim.
